With a 7-inch sunlight-readable display, the Topcon FC-5000 Field Controller is a larger and faster data collector for all construction and surveying needs. Compatible with all Topcon GNSS receivers and total stations, the FC-5000 stores and processes field data in its integrated 64 GB flash memory and Intel Atom Z3745 processor. It also features an internal GPS navigation and WiFi for seamless data transfer. Ideal for robotic applications, the FC5000 has an extended Bluetooth range of over 1,500 feet.

This Topcon handheld computer is equipped with Windows 10 Professional OS that runs most Topcon survey software, such as MAGNET Field, MAGNET Layout, and Pocket 3D. The FC 5000 data collector’s display has a capacitive touch interface with a finger, glove, and small tip stylus. With the press of a button, construction professionals can change the orientation of the screen from portrait to landscape to improve visibility when viewing maps or drawings. It also has an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera.

Built to survive harsh weather conditions, the FC-5000 field controller is dustproof and water submersible. It also operates up to 15 hours using both internal and removable batteries. This Topcon field controller comes with a one year manufacturer’s warranty.

The Topcon FC 5000 Field Controller is available with an optional 4G LTE cellular modem that provides instant connections from construction sites to the office.
